Bollywood Movie ‘Son of Sardar’ To Release On Nov.13th!

Newly turned producer Ajay Devgan’s newest venture Son of Sardar, which stars newbie Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla and of course, Ajay Devgan himself, is set to release on the festival of Diwali on November the 13th.

Confirming this, Devgan re-tweeted film critic Taran Adarsh’s post about the film, “@taran_adarsh: #SOS starring @ajaydevgn to release this Diwali, 13 Nov.  Exclusive pic from the sets in Patiala http://twitpic.com/97tjw5” the post also includes an exclusive still of Ajay Devgan from the film (see below).

Directing the highly anticipated film is Ashwani Dhir, director of films Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? and One Two Three – as both films did average business at the box office, Son of Sardar creates added pressure on the director to create a hit film.  Dabangg star, Salman Khan is also rumoured to be featuring in an item song in the film – trying to remake the ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ hype perhaps Sallu?

Mukul Dev, who plays Sanjay Dutt’s brother, states that, “Son of Sardar is about two warring/feuding Sardar families.  However, the circumstances have been humorously handled.”

So we’re guessing we can expect a fully-fledged laughable film about Sardar’s – (remind you of ‘Singh is King’ anyone?), let’s hope that this film doesn’t dissatisfy.
